Romanian Design Week - Bucharest, 15-24 May 2015

Romanian Design Week este cel mai important eveniment multidisciplinar dedicat industriilor creative din România (arhitectură, grafică, modă, design de obiect). Este primul proiect dedicat în întregime designului românesc, care se adresează atât publicului larg, cât și profesioniștilor. 

Editia a 3-a se va desfasura între 15 și 24 mai 2015 la Hanul Gabroveni - Bucuresti.

Romanian Design Week is the most important event dedicated to creative industries in Romania (architecture, graphics, fashion, design object). It is the first project dedicated entirely to Romanian design that addresses both the general public and professionals.

The 3rd edition will take place from May 15th to May 24th at Hanul Gabroveni  - Bucharest.

EXHIBITION: "PC: A Fascinating History" - The National History Museum of Romania, Bucharest, 24 april - 21 June 2015

The Exhibition "PC: A Fascinating History" is open from April 24 to June 21, 2015 and can be visited from Wednesday to Sunday between 10.00 - 18.00 at the The National History Museum of Romania, Calea Victoriei No. 12, Sector 3, Bucharest.

The exhibition presents the evolution of computers from an early calculating machines to today's modern computers, most pieces dating from the 70s-80s of the last century.

One of the oldest pieces presented in the exhibition is a computer engineer from 1943-1944, manufactured in Sweden by the company Original-Odhner, which is the longest ever built model.
